We bought two peach trees.  They are called Bonanza Peach and they are a smaller variety.  They are just babies right now but the guy at the garden place told us they will still have a few peaches on them in the spring.  Only one problem – we started digging the holes and guess what was underneath the first two inches of soil!  CLAY!  Wonderful, orange, dense, sticky clay.  So we dug out the first hole, and started digging the second, and there was an even better surprise!  CLAY MIXED WITH GRAVEL!  Basically, cement!  So William worked for hours digging that out and then filled it with some nice soft store bought soil.  They look so cute!
